Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights
Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $36–$39/hour
Bonuses: $12,000 Retention Bonus (after permanent conversion)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM - Rotating schedule (3 nights one week, 4 nights the next)
We are hiring a Night Shift RN for a behavioral health and crisis stabilization facility in Durham, NC. This is a 750-hour temp-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct nursing assessments and develop treatment plans
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications
• Respond to crisis situations and assist with de-escalation
• Monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, BP, etc.)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Complete accurate clinical documentation
This is a hands-on crisis environment working directly with individuals experiencing acute mental health and substance use challenges.
Qualifications:
• Active NC RN license (Compact preferred)
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year behavioral health experience
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications
• Must pass de-escalation training
