Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring an active MI RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience.

Details
  • Work in the Progressive Care Unit (11 East) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Oncology patient population with administration of vesicant and non-vesicant chemotherapy
  • Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions are only assigned to travelers who have completed the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or hold OCN certification
Requirements
  • Active MI RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • License and Nursys verification dated within 30 days of start required for consideration
  • References and COVID vaccination card required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Provide nursing care within a Progressive Care Unit specializing in oncology patients
  • Complete a unit-based oncology course and unit orientation prior to administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
  • Local candidates residing in Michigan are accepted at local rates
