Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Radiology Department in the role of Medical Imaging Receptionist. This position is a 0.3 FTE (12 hours per week) and will work Monday-Friday, days. The radiology receptionist is responsible for patient scheduling, reception of customers, release of information, and preparation of film jackets for dictation, film retrieval and filing...

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The radiology receptionist is responsible for patient scheduling, reception of customers, release of information, and preparation of film jackets for dictation, film retrieval and filing. This position requires typing and computer skills, customer reception etiquette with all age groups, medical terminology and good communication and organizational skills. He/she also assists the technologist or Radiologist with customer needs. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Shift:  Monday-Friday, days

FTE: 0.3 (12 hours per week)
