At WGU, technology powers opportunity. We're looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer II to help build modern, scalable applications that support transformative digital experiences for students, faculty, and employees across web and mobile platforms.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to meaningful products that make education more accessible and effective.
You'll primarily work with Angular for enterprise web applications and Flutter for cross-platform mobile development while contributing to backend services built with Java and Python. You'll partner closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular, Flutter, Java, and Python

  • Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences for both web and mobile platforms

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on scalable application architecture and technical design decisions

  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

Position & Application Details
