Job Title: MedTech/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) - Assisted Living Friday & Saturday Nights
We are currently hiring a CNA for a Part-time position in our assisted living community, Friday and Saturday nights, 11pm-7am. Our organization offers a range of benefits, including PTO, Vision, Dental, Health, and 401K, and CNA licensing through our partnership with Utah CNA Training Centers. We also offer shift differentials for NOC and weekend shifts, as well as exceptional management that truly cares about both residents and staff. Our unique "WOW" culture is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team. For full-time employees, health, dental, and vision insurance are available. Additionally, all our buildings are fully staffed with housekeeping, dietary, and activities personnel, allowing you to focus on caregiving. Our residents are the best part of our job.
As a caregiver, your primary responsibilities will include assisting our elderly residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). You will be required to document and notify the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse of any changes or concerns regarding the residents' conditions. Other duties will be assigned by the Administrator or RCC.
To be considered for this role, you should possess basic computer skills, be a self-starter capable of working independently, and ideally have CNA certification, although it is not required. We also offer the possibility of obtaining your CNA certification while working with us. The ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively is crucial. You should have a high tolerance for working under pressure and managing critical situations calmly. Experience as a CNA or Med Tech is preferred. Good communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals, and to convey sensitive information with empathy. A positive and compassionate attitude and a genuine love for the elderly are important traits for this position. A food handler's permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test are required upon hire.
If you are under 18, please let us know if you are currently enrolled in a CNA course. While caregiving experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of caregiving experience and CNA certification.
Work location: In person
Job Types: Full-time
