Job description

Aphena Pharma Solutions in Easton, MD has opportunities for day shift and night shift Operators for Levels I, II, and III. Pay rate will be commensurate with education and experience. Night Shift Operators earn a shift differential. Sign on bonus of $500!
Essential Functions on a Machine Operator:
  • Clean and sanitize equipment according to documented procedures.
  • Set up and run equipment to standard.
  • Record all information as specified by documented procedures using good
  • documentation practices.
  • Ensure all log books are complete and accurate.
  • Perform and record most preventive maintenance, assistance may be required from
  • mechanical staff.
  • Execute MBR's according to documented instructions.
  • Clean and maintain ink printers.
  • Be able to identify and replace broken and / or damaged parts.
  • Adjust computerized attributes as necessary, identify and correct machine or raw
  • material discrepancies to assure product control.
  • Train other employees to become machine operators.
  • Clean and sweep work areas when necessary.
  • Work up to a 40 hour scheduled workweek. However, please note that actual shift
  • schedules may vary with different production lines. This would be discussed at
  • time of interview.
  • Work overtime as needed to maintain job schedules. NOTE: Overtime may be
  • mandatory to maintain required production schedules.
  • Move items using material handling equipment as needed.
  • Assist with varied tasks as required.

  • High School graduate preferred.
  • Previous machine operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions.
  • Ability to analyze and solve mechanical problems.
  • Skilled in reading, writing, and counting.
  • Possess general working knowledge of electrical controls.
