Job description

Job Title: Material Handler - Stockroom (Night Shift)
Shift: Night Shift (10-hour shifts) 3:30PM-2:00AM Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Night Shift Material Handler to support stockroom and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for handling materials efficiently and accurately, supporting inbound and outbound logistics, and maintaining equipment and work areas in compliance with company and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Rigging boxes and materials for movement or storage
  • Pull and stage pumps and other materials as required by production or shipping needs
  • Receive inbound materials, verify shipments, and place items into designated stock locations
  • Unload trucks safely and efficiently as needed
  • Fill propane tanks for forklift operation as needed
  • Operate and maintain the cardboard baler, ensuring proper use and cleanliness
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational guidelines
Equipment & Training Requirements
Employees in this role will be required to be trained and certified on the following equipment:
  • Propane ride-on forklift
  • Narrow aisle lift
  • Electric counterbalance lift
  • Jib boom
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work independently during night shift hours
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to work in various temperature conditions typical of a manufacturing/warehouse environment, including exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures
  • Good visual acuity and depth perception
