Job description

Description

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Production/Utility Technician at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be responsible for reading production schedules and maintaining product flow to our high-volume production line.

Shift Available

Night Shift 6:50pm – 7:00am (12 Hour Rotating Schedule)

Responsibilities

  • Read production schedules, prioritize and determine product needed and feed coating line with glass according to paperwork specifications.
  • Prepare and move racks to working areas as determined by production schedule.
  • Prepare and organize box closing areas based on product specifications.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is attached to rack/A-frame prior to staging for box close and shipment.
  • Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Ensure safety measures are taking place at all times.

 

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Pass pre-employment background, physical & drug screening process. 
  • Forklift certification or experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Wear PPE as required, including steal toe work boots.
  • Effective problem solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
  • Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tool and measuring instruments.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
