DATA CENTER NIGHT SHIFT LEAD (BILINGUAL – ENGLISH/SPANISH)

Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Data Center Night Shift Lead to oversee overnight operations with a strong focus on supervising cabling technicians. This role ensures consistent workflow, quality control, and adherence to operational standards during night hours.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, guide, and support night‑shift cabling technicians
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure project deadlines are met
• Oversee installation, routing, labeling, and testing of network and fiber cabling
• Maintain data center cleanliness, organization, and rack readiness
• Conduct quality checks on all cabling and documentation completed overnight
• Assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues and escalating when needed
• Provide shift reports, handoff summaries, and status updates to daytime management
• Uphold safety and compliance standards throughout the data center
• Serve as the point of contact for night-shift needs, incidents, and workflow decisions
• Travel as needed to support projects and work primarily from Abilene, TX

Required Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience leading teams or acting as a shift lead in a data center or similar environment
• Strong hands-on background in copper and fiber cabling
• Ability to read cable maps, work orders, and basic network diagrams
• Comfortable working overnight shifts consistently
