Overview
Up-North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our night shift. Up North Plastics recently completed a new building at our Cottage Grove MN location and is hiring due to company growth. A successful candidate must be mechanically inclined and have some previous experience working on engines/vehicles/machines.
***Pay Starting at $26.00***
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Experience working with hand/power tools
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
  • Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantling machines to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.
  • Inspecting used parts.
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • Installing new parts.
