Employment Type: Full-Time
Shifts Available:
· Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating Weekends)
· Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join aour team. This facility offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services and is recognized for excellence in areas including cardiac care, women's health, emergency services, and advanced paediatric and neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform technical laboratory procedures in areas such as chemistry, haematology, urinalysis, and immunology
· Accurately report test results, alerting providers or nurses to critical or abnormal findings per protocol
· Maintain proper specimen collection procedures and ensure quality control and accurate documentation
· Set up, calibrate, maintain, and sterilize laboratory equipment and instruments
Requirements:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferre
· Certification: MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required
· Licensure: Current State Medical Laboratory Technician License required
· Experience: Prior laboratory experience preferred; candidates with a valid license who are recent graduates or have relevant clinical/lab assistant experience will also be considered
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking candidates with a solid foundation in clinical laboratory practices. New graduates with strong clinical rotation experience or backgrounds as lab assistants or complex specimen processors are encouraged to apply.
