Job description

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Allied Health - Other - Title: MRI Technologist Night Shift
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 16 weeks
We are seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment with a busy acute-care imaging department. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Tech who is comfortable working independently and performing inpatient MRI studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
36 hours per week
3x12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
ARRT (MRI) certification required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Strong experience performing MRI examinations in an acute-care environment
Ability to work independently and manage assigned studies efficiently
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols.
Provide MRI services primarily for inpatient studies as assigned.
Properly prepare, position and assist patients throughout MRI procedures.
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain appropriate image quality and patient safety standards.
Work independently while collaborating with radiologists, nurses, physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, infection-control and departmental procedures.

Candidates must be available to work 2 of the following 3 major holidays:
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
Candidates must also be available to work 1 of the following minor holidays:
Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
