Our location in Culver, Indiana is on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic buildings and architecture.
WORK HOURS, a rolling schedule, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, two days on, two days off.
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of persons and CEF property. They will respond to emergency and non-emergency situations or conditions and provide assistance or take actions appropriate to the situation within the legal limits of Campus Safety/Security authority.
This position requires security surveillance of Culver Academies, including campus patrol by foot, bicycle, or vehicle, checking and securing buildings, investigating reports of suspicious activities, and striving towards a safe, crime-free campus environment.
REQUIREMENTS: The requirements for this position include a High School Diploma/GED, must be at least 21 years old, must possess a valid Indiana driver's license with a good driving record, and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and special events. Emergency Medical training is not required for employment, but the applicant will be required to complete training as soon as possible.
