Location: Irvine, CA
Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 DOE

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the migration of on-premise data center systems to cloud environments. This role requires strong application-level understanding, as you will coordinate with application managers, infrastructure engineers, and vendors to ensure a smooth migration.

Job Description

Manage end-to-end data center to cloud migration projects
Organize and assess application portfolios for migration
Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners, and external vendors
Define migration strategies: rehost, replatform, refactor, retire
Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables
Oversee testing, cutover, and validation activities
Maintain proper documentation of processes and systems

Qualifications

6+ years as an IT Project Manager
Experience in data center/cloud migration projects
Knowledge of enterprise applications and system dependencies
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with migration tools (AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate)
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
Hybrid cloud environment experience
