What are the easiest jobs to get in the film industry?

Entry-level roles in the film industry, such as production assistants or set runners, are generally the easiest to obtain and often require minimal experience. These positions provide opportunities to learn industry skills and can serve as a stepping stone to more specialized roles like film rigging or technical positions, which may require specific training or certifications. Night shift film rigging roles typically demand technical knowledge and safety training, making them less accessible for beginners.

How to get into film rigging?

To get into film rigging, start by gaining experience in construction, carpentry, or stage setup, as these skills are transferable. Learning to operate rigging tools and understanding safety protocols are essential, and many riggers gain certifications in rigging or working at heights. Building a network in the film industry and seeking entry-level positions on set can also help establish a career in film rigging.
