Title Java Developer w/ Spring Boot

Location: Morris Plains, NJ/Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Must have:

  • RESTful APIs (Java, Spring Boot)
  • JavaScript and React
  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Docker, Jenkins, MongoDB, Docker and Kafka Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), JIRA, Confluence

Seeking a mid to senior level software engineer to join the Digital Security & Web Engineering team. This team's focus is delivering high-quality web applications adhering to enterprise development best practices. This is a highly collaborative team that owns and supports some of the most critical features in Member website. Craftsmanship, pride in ownership and passion for excellence are core expectations.
Full stack developer who has experience developing client facing web applications using the technologies listed above. This role requires someone who has expert knowledge on creating RESTful services using Java, Spring Boot as well as frontend technologies like React JS, JavaScript, CSS and HTML along with Production Support experience. They are expected to work closely with Business Partners, developers, technical project managers, principle engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application is running 24/7 and it meet business/customer requirements.
Level Expectations:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative full stack developer with experience in developing RESTful APIs (Java, Spring Boot) and JavaScript E2015+(React)
Other technologies used include AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Docker, Jenkins, MongoDB, Docker and Kafka
Experience with Multi Factor Authentication, Identity & Access Management Technology is a huge plus
Function well in large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional / platform environment
Expertise on creating Application health dashboards and automated PROD health alerts.
Solid individual performance, but may spend considerable portion of their time providing direction for others, share knowledge, coaches and mentors
