Pay: $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance, experience, reliability, and growth within the company.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

• Morning Shift: 6:30 AM–1:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM–6:30 PM
• Night Shift: 9 PM- 2 AM

Saturday & Sunday

• Morning Shift: 7:30 AM–1:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM–6:30 PM
• Night Shift: 9 PM- 2 AM

Puppingham Palace II is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Doggy Daycare Attendant to join our team! The ideal candidate genuinely loves dogs and enjoys working in a fun, active, and sometimes messy environment.

Our daycare attendants are responsible for providing a safe, clean, and positive environment for all of our furry guests while delivering excellent care and customer service.

• Supervise dogs during daycare play and rest periods.
• Monitor dog behavior and ensure a safe environment for all dogs.
• Provide plenty of attention, affection, and positive interaction.
• Feed dogs and administer meals according to owner instructions.
• Keep daycare, play areas, kennels, and common areas clean and sanitary.
• Clean up after dogs throughout the day.
• Refill water bowls and monitor dogs' basic needs.
• Follow all daycare safety procedures and facility policies.
• Recognize signs of stress, illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns to management.
• Assist with drop-off and pick-up of daycare guests.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to pet parents.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the facility runs smoothly.
• Perform other cleaning and pet-care duties as needed.

Previous experience working with dogs, in a kennel, daycare, veterinary setting, grooming facility, or similar environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Our Front Desk Attendants are the friendly first point of contact for our customers and their pets. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being around dogs.

• Greet customers and their dogs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check dogs in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services.
• Answer phones, emails, and customer questions.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and reservations.
• Process payments and assist with customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer and pet information.
• Communicate important information between pet parents and daycare staff.
• Assist customers with questions regarding services, policies, and schedules.
• Monitor the front lobby and ensure it remains clean and welcoming.
• Help maintain organized records and paperwork.
• Assist with retail sales and other front-desk duties as needed.
• Work closely with daycare staff to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Front Desk Attendants may also assist with basic dog-care and cleaning duties when needed.

Our Night Shift Attendants are responsible for caring for our overnight boarding guests and making sure the facility is clean, secure, and ready for the next day.

• Monitor and care for overnight boarding dogs.
• Conduct regular checks of all dogs throughout the night.
• Ensure dogs have fresh water and are comfortable.
• Feed dogs according to their individual instructions and schedules.
• Take dogs outside for scheduled potty breaks.
• Clean kennels, runs, floors, and other areas as needed.
• Clean up accidents and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, distress, or unusual behavior.
• Follow all medication and special-care instructions as assigned and permitted by company policy.
• Maintain a quiet and calm environment for overnight guests.
• Secure doors, gates, and facility areas according to closing procedures.
• Complete overnight cleaning and preparation duties.
• Document important events, feedings, potty breaks, medications, or concerns for the next shift.
• Report emergencies or concerns to management immediately.
• Prepare the facility for the morning staff and customers.

• Responsible, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable caring for dogs overnight.
• Able to stay alert and attentive throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with cleaning and handling pet waste.
• Able to follow detailed instructions.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Previous overnight pet-care, kennel, veterinary, or animal-care experience is a plus.

Night shift hours will be scheduled based on the facility's overnight boarding needs.

Night Shift Attendants must be comfortable working overnight hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with possibilities for pay increases based on performance, reliability, experience, skill development, and increased responsibilities.
