Job description

Summary:
Road America is seeking an individual with a passion for racing to be part of the Security team. This role is a part time seasonal position. This position is responsible for ensuring safety in a number of different areas and conducting routing patrols. The security team members assumes a proactive role in keeping the facility safe. This is a part-time seasonal worker from April - October.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
As part of the Security team you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and positive manner. Provide information and guidance to Road America guests and ensure the safety of our employees and customer by enforcing the rules of Road America. You will patrol the facility to prevent and detect security violations. You will monitor the entrance and departure of employees and guests. You will provide excellent customer service to guests by fielding inquiries and maintaining a friendly, safe environment.
Shift Days and Hours:
The employees gets pick pick the days and hours they work based on what is available. This role is is overnights.
Pay:
13.50 per hour and an additional 1.50 for nights
Qualifications:
All candidates must be at least 16 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, must have the ability to multitask, advanced people skills, ability to diffuse situations, ability to assist with crowd control. Flexible scheduling is needed as shift include days, nights, weekend and holidays.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate equipment. The employee is subject to the outside environment conditions such as cold weather or extreme heat. Also, subject to noise and fast-moving objects. Must have the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. occasionally.
