As a CloudOps Engineer, you will operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission focused teams as they deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-native solutions. You'll strengthen your technical skills while helping clients achieve operational excellence across their cloud ecosystems.

Work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large-scale government program, using next-gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Python . Design and develop DevSecOps pipelines to drive rapid Cloud delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, or AWS CodeDeploy. Use state of the art diagnostic tools, AI best practices, and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience operating cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with container technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes, and with automation tools, including GitLab and GitHub
  • Experience with IaC tooling, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
  • Experience with scripting, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor'sdegree and 3+ yearsof experience working with a cloud service provider, orMaster'sdegree and 1+ yearsof experience working with a cloud service provider
  • Ability to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification within 60 days of start date
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Linux or Windows Server

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
