As a Server, you will be one of the driving forces behind the cafe’s success, interacting with guests to ensure exemplary service in an efficient manner while dining at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Take orders, serve food and drinks, answer inquiries about the menu and comply with the wishes of the guest, as well as suggestively sell food and drinks. Work closely with Bussers and Hosts/Hostess’ to ensure guests receive excellent service.

$2.13/hour + Tips (Average earning potential of $15/hour-$25/hour). We guarantee that your hourly wage plus tips will never fall below the Virginia state minimum wage. Our experienced servers typically make between $15 and $25 an hour.

We’re seeking an exceptional server who can seamlessly multitask with food and beverage orders and deliveries. Our restaurant prides itself on delivering outstanding service, so we’re looking for someone who treats our guests with attentiveness, patience, a sense of urgency and a positive demeanor. To enhance our guests' dining experience, an exceptional server should be friendly, courteous and accommodating, a strong problem-solver and effecive team player. • Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately and promptly
• Assist guests with menu selections and dietary restrictions
• Greet newly seated guests in a friendly manner within one minute of being seated
• Maintain table appearance by pre-bussing, checking drink levels, removing clutter, etc.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily or seasonal specials and ingredients
• Keep wait station clean. Set up and take down station according to opening and closing procedures
• Process payments and manage cash handling
• Keep the dining area clean and organized, including clearing tables and restocking supplies
• Respectfully collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any complaints effectively and respectfully
• Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and service.
• Overall, provide Excellent customer service and engagement to create a memorable dining experience

• Previous work experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required
• Must be able to stand and work on feet for 6-8 hours of a shift
• Must be able to lift 30+ lbs
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol
