Are you ready to jumpstart your career in a fast-paced, high-tech environment? Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join the team supporting an advanced automated transportation system at Miami Airport. This is your chance to be part of something exciting, working with a variety of electrical and mechanical systems while helping keep people moving safely and efficiently every day!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Be a key player in keeping a vital transportation system running at its best! As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform routine inspections, handle preventive maintenance, and jump into repairs that keep everything operating smoothly. You'll build your skills by tackling hands-on fixes, supporting team efforts on larger projects, and staying engaged on the front line of system performance. From responding quickly to alerts to helping ensure reliable, day-to-day operations, you'll have a direct impact on delivering a safe and seamless rider experience.
This is a full-time hourly position, currently hiring for the overnight shift (10:00pm-6:00am) at $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. As part of the compensation for this role, Leitner-Poma also offers a 15% shift differential for your overnight dedication.

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma/ GED equivalent.
  • Some basic technical knowledge or hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Ability to assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Able to read and understand basic instructions, diagrams, or manuals.
  • Willingness to work in different environments, including indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 1 year of maintenance & repair.
