Description:

: Assisting the night production in packing baked goods for orders, load & unload trucks, deliver to Zaroโ€™s stores based on scheduled delivery routes. This is a Night/Overnight position with a varying schedule. Base Schedule 11pm-7am

Requirements:

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Consistently work with the team to ensure orders are packed and properly fulfilled.
  2. Load and unload trucks.
  3. Drive to complete delivery routes as scheduled.
  4. Assist other departments and perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to food handling, sanitation, packing
  5. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice.
  6. Adhere to all food safety and health standards set by Quality Assurance department.
  7. Follow all safety programs and promote an accident-free environment by building good daily habits.

Trucking Requirements

  • A valid driver's license, with at least a 3-year driving record; (must maintain a clean MVR while employed) and 1 year of professional driving experience
  • No more than two violations in 36 months (must provide current MVR)
  • No loss of driving privilege
  • No alcohol/drug violations
  • Must be able to comfortably drive in Metropolitan areas; all 5 boroughs
  • The Driver is not required to have a CDL license to operate the vehicle.
  • Driver must Safely operate vehicle.
  • The driver must be comfortable operating the truck and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Keep truck clean and neat; inspect general conditions daily
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be Customer Friendly. Able to provide a good Customer experience.
