Are you interested in working a full-time work week in only 3 ½ Days, then National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri, may have an opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in working as a Drum Operator on a rotating night shift schedule.
Competitive Wages and Benefits:

3 ½ day Work Week with a 4 week work day rotation
Responsibilities
Drum Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Administration of chemicals and monitoring of drums and process, while maintaining the highest attainable quality of hide.
  • Drum Processing
  • Performing hide quality audits
  • Proper chemical handling
  • Computer Operation
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for the Night Shift Drum Operator position should possess the following:
  • Read, write and speak English
  • Be clean-shaven is advised for personal safety purposes due to position requiring use of respiratory equipment
  • Have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Be willing to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends
  • Be able to lift at least 55 pounds
  • Be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment
  • Have computing and mathematical skills
  • Have the ability to distinguish color, color coded buckets for chemicals
  • Have the ability to go up and down stairs
  • Be a team player
  • Chemical and QA/Lab Background is preferred but not required

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
