Night Auditor

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is an upscale hotel located across from the Woodfield Mall and just 15 minutes from O'Hare. An integral part of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg's success will be attributed to this position with a hands on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship that will dictate first and lasting impressions people have of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

Your schedule will range from 11:00 pm to 7:00am. Front Office | Night Auditor is responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.

Other duties may include:

  • Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
  • Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
  • Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
  • Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Help prepare for forecasts and audits
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management
