Tacten is seeking Rope Access JP Insulators to join our team for long-term maintenance work in the Fort McMurray area. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Position Information: 

• Start Date: September 2026
• 7/7 and 14/14 rotations available, 12-hour shifts
• Applicants must be local to Fort McMurray or willing to relocate (Local Living Incentive provided)

• Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
• Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
• Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
• Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
• Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
• Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
• Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
• Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.

• Journeyman Insulator or equivalent hours required
• IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain
• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
• CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
• ESC Fall Protection an asset
