Registered Nurse NICU
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Pay Rate: $1,800To $2,160 /week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Level IV / Surgical NICU experience required
About the Role
We are seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role supports a high-acuity Level IV / surgical NICU environment and requires strong neonatal critical care skills, weekend availability, and flexibility to float as needed.
Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill and surgical neonates
• Care for infants with CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Support pre-op, peri-op, and post-op neonatal care needs
• Monitor neonatal conditions, respond to changes, and collaborate with the NICU care team
• Float to other units as needed and support safe patient outcomes
Requirements
• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license required
• Level IV / surgical NICU experience required
• PALS Certification required; NRP Certification preferred
• Must be available for weekend block night shifts and at least one holiday if it falls during the contract
• Nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing, drug screen, and flu vaccine required with no exceptions
