Job description

The mission of Fitness and Fandom is to create delightful discovery, browse, and search experiences that connect customers to strategic shopping programs and enable best-in-class experiences for Sports fans worldwide. Our Licensed Sports program aims to build a cohesive experience where fans feel understood by Amazon - with relevant, timely, and delightful experiences that connect them to their passions, celebrating every moment, emotion, and milestone across leagues, teams, and global sporting events.
We are looking for a seasoned PMT to lead our Licensed Sports fan CX, improving the end-to-end fan shopping experience across NFL, NCAA, MLB, NBA, NHL, International Soccer, F1, and emerging leagues - and delivering on our vision for Amazon to be the premier licensed sports shopping destination.
As Principal PMT, you will lead product strategy for the Licensed Sports CX vision, shaping and defining disruptive strategies to deliver game-changing experiences for fans worldwide and outsized business outcomes for licensed products. You will partner with business teams across North American Sports (NAS), MAS Marketing and EU Sports to deeply understand customer and selling partner needs. You will work directly with dedicated engineering, applied science, and design partners, and senior leadership to drive product development, define an AI-first approach to deliver scalable and delightful experiences, and lead long-term product strategy.
You are naturally curious, data-driven, and entrepreneurial as you take end-to-end ownership for your product. You are the kind of leader who anticipates bottlenecks, deftly navigates ambiguity, makes informed trade-off decisions, and skillfully balances the needs of the business versus technical constraints. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills that help you build strong partnerships with colleagues and influence senior leaders.
If you enjoy cutting through ambiguity, challenging traditional approaches, eliminating complexity, and innovating on behalf of customers, come join us!
Key job responsibilities
- Fan CX Vision & Roadmap: Lead the vision and roadmap for the Licensed Sports Fan Shop experience - defining scalable solutions for fan-first browse, discovery, and personalization powered by Sports Profiles, event-driven CX, and AI/ML-powered content strategies.

- Sports Profiles & Personalization: Drive the integration and activation of Customer Sports Profiles across Amazon surfaces to deliver personalized fan experiences at scale.
- Data & Metrics Ownership: Leverage data to define success metrics for features and services, track performance (OPS, purchase rate, fan engagement), deep-dive on issues, and uncover trends and patterns.
- VP-Level Accountability: Own QBR goal(s) with direct accountability to VP-level stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and best practices to the broader Product Management organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
