Job description

Location: Remote
Remote Full-time
Compensation: $70K - $75K
Our client operates an innovative, skill-based fantasy sports platform built around a live player market where prices fluctuate based on real-time fan demand. Following the successful launch of a summer football product, the organization is expanding its footprint into American football. The incoming Social Media & Creator Manager will have a unique opportunity to establish and build the platform's NFL presence from the ground up, shaping how the brand engages with US sports fans.
This is a fully remote, comprehensive role requiring end-to-end ownership of the client's NFL social media accounts, brand voice, community interaction, and creator partnerships. The successful candidate will not merely execute predetermined briefs but will possess a strategic seat at the table, contributing directly to how the NFL product is marketed globally. This position reports into the Marketing department and collaborates extensively with cross-functional teams spanning paid media, email marketing, and campaign strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Social Channel Management: Oversee and scale the client's dedicated NFL accounts across X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Short-Form.
  • Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and maintain a dynamic content calendar synchronized with the NFL calendar, covering weekly storylines, game-day events, injuries, market line movements, and platform-specific metrics.
  • Real-Time Engagement: Monitor live game developments, upsets, and trending narratives to produce high-impact, reactive content within rapid turnaround times.
  • Platform Integration: Translate live player market fluctuations, "backs and fades," and platform skill rankings into compelling talking points that resonate with the broader NFL digital community.
  • Performance Analytics: Drive meaningful growth in follower count, engagement metrics, and audience reach; ensure social initiatives actively convert into user sign-ups and platform activity rather than relying solely on vanity metrics.
  • Creator & Influencer Relations: Identify, source, and manage end-to-end relationships with NFL creators, streamers, and digital personalities. Orchestrate briefs, coordinate deliverables, and establish a scalable, repeatable pipeline for seasonal influencer activations.
  • Campaign & Media Collaboration: Contribute strategic concepts to broader NFL marketing campaigns. Align organic initiatives with the paid media and email teams, providing creative direction and identifying emerging social trends that can be converted into scalable campaign concepts.

Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 2 to 4 years of dedicated experience managing professional social media channels, with a strong preference for backgrounds in sports, gaming, fantasy leagues, sports betting, or fan-centric media.
  • NFL Fluency: Deep, nuanced knowledge of the NFL, including active tracking of games, deep familiarity with ongoing storylines, and a precise understanding of how NFL fan communities communicate online.
  • Platform Competency: A proven, demonstrable track record of driving organic growth and high performance specifically on X and TikTok, supported by a portfolio of previous work.
  • Operational Agility: Exceptional editorial instincts, strong written communication skills, and the ability to produce high-quality multimedia content under tight deadlines during live sporting events.
  • Influencer Coordination: Practical experience identifying, briefing, and managing external digital creators or influencers.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to interpret basic performance data, translate analytics into actionable adjustments, and maintain a strong focus on acquisition metrics.
  • Autonomy: A proactive, self-starting professional who thrives with high degrees of ownership and takes accountability for outcomes without requiring constant baseline direction.

Bonus Points
  • Direct experience independently scaling a personal or independent sports/fantasy digital account.
  • Familiarity with the structural mechanics of fantasy sports or Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS).
  • Experience producing, editing, or appearing in live or short-form digital video content.
  • An established network of NFL creators and digital personalities available to leverage immediately.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Full-time employment with a fully remote operational structure.
  • A highly collaborative environment with direct strategic input into product positioning and marketing campaigns.
  • The opportunity to build and scale a high-growth sports platform's presence in the US market from inception.
