Job description

The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a Football Development Camp Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and growth of all youth and high school camps and clinics as part of the Indianapolis Colts organization's grassroots football initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Football Development, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality, fun, safe, and instructional programming that drives youth engagement, increases participation in both flag and tackle football, and creates positive, lasting exposure to the game.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate and execute Colts' Football Development signature programs including but not limited to, Colts Junior Football Camps, Girls Flag Spring Clinic, Colts Skills Camp, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Football Development on strategic initiatives to grow participation and expand grassroots outreach
  • Assist with staffing, training, and supervising camp coaches and volunteers to ensure consistent instruction and messaging
  • Assist in the development, growth, and execution of Colts flag football camps and programs as a part of the club's overall youth marketing strategy
  • Support the Community Impact department with individual player camp responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and execution of programs impacting Indiana football officials and coaches
  • Assist the Director of Football Development with the completion of the NFL Foundation's youth football grant application and NFL Club Metrics Report
  • Manage Football Development department inventory
  • Create and submit internal production requests
  • Oversee box truck and equipment requests from other departments
  • Lead planning and execution of daily Training Camp youth activations
  • Assist in tracking participation data and provide feedback to assess program impact and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with Senior Coordinator on several key Football Development initiatives and intern staffing
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four (4) year degree in Sports Marketing, Communication, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Two to three years of professional experience in youth sports
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and think quickly on one's feet using independent judgment
  • Must be highly self-motivated and outgoing
  • Ability to vertically move items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends based on event schedules as well as all Colts home games
