Position Description
The Senior Photographer is responsible for capturing the energy, intensity, and identity of Buccaneers football. This role is responsible for producing iconic imagery that reflects the team's legacy, championship culture, and connection to the Tampa Bay community. This role will work closely with the Creative Director and VP of Creative to establish the creative vision and photographic style.
Essential Functions
  • Manage coverage plan for game day photography team, including shot list build out and assignments
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to build and evolve roster of freelance photographers
  • Photograph all Buccaneers home and away games, capturing premium action, sideline storytelling, and defining moments
  • Identify and execute opportunities for signature imagery that defines seasons, players, and moments
  • Proficiency in studio, flat lay, and lifestyle photography, specifically for merchandise and product-based shoots.
  • Maintain and evolve editing standards, color consistency, and image selection
  • Ensure rapid turnaround of images, including real-time delivery across gamedays and varying events.
  • Cover practices during the season and all offseason programs (OTAs, Rookie Camp, Mini Camp, Training Camp, etc.)
  • Proactively research and implement emerging photography trends, post-processing techniques, and hardware/software advancements to ensure the team remains at the forefront of sports and lifestyle creative.
  • Capture a wide range of non-football community events, activations, and corporate initiatives with a focus on storytelling and brand representation beyond the field.
  • Shoot major press conferences to include Draft, Free Agency and Ring of Honor and additional press conferences as needed
  • Capturing various events across all departments (Digital Media, Community Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Guest & Member Relations, Football Operations, Ownership)
  • Shoot Player, Coaching and Staff headshots using AP guidelines to be used internally and throughout the NFL
  • Upload, maintain and evolve the team's photo archive with accurate metadata, captions, and historical tagging to the Buccaneers asset management server
  • Shoot players during the team's asset shoot day for use in Marketing, Digital and Sales materials
  • Collaborate closely with the Buccaneers' social media, video, design, PR, and marketing teams
  • Coordinate with NFL Photography, external platforms, and league partners as required

Additional Technical Knowledge
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-level action photography, storytelling, and brand-driven work
  • Strong visual instincts, timing, and compositional awareness
  • Expert knowledge of professional camera systems, long lenses, and advanced lighting techniques
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel extensively during the NFL season

Work Environment
  • Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
  • Required to work all home and away games
  • Must be comfortable working in a high intensity setting, meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results

Physical Fitness Standards
  • Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
  • Must be able to lift 20 - 50 pounds
