Presentation Designer & Visual Storyteller

AEG

Pittsburgh, PA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

About the Role.
YinzCam powers the digital fan experience for 200+ professional sports teams across 7 countries. We move fast, we pitch big, and we need our decks to look like it. We're looking for a sharp, high-energy designer who lives inside PowerPoint or Keynote the way engineers live inside code - someone who can turn a rough brief into a polished, persuasive visual story, fast.
You'll work directly with the CEO on daily pitch decks, sales collateral, product presentations, Summit keynotes, and partner proposals. Every output needs to feel like it belongs on a stadium jumbotron - not a boardroom projector.
This is a fully onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA. You'll be in the building, in the room, and on the call. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
What You'll Do.
  • Build and refine pitch decks, sales one-pagers, QBRs, product demos, and executive presentations from briefs, bullet points, or rough drafts
  • Develop and maintain a visual system (templates, color palettes, component libraries) tailored to YinzCam's brand and each client's team identity
  • Source, edit, and integrate sports photography, team graphics, and motion assets to make slides feel alive
  • Translate complex product features and data into clean visual narratives - funnels, KPI grids, journey maps, comparison matrices
  • Rapidly iterate during live working sessions - you're comfortable making changes in real time on a call
  • Own an asset library of reusable slide components organized for fast turnaround
  • Occasionally produce short motion graphics or animated slide elements for Summit and keynote contexts

What You Bring.
  • A portfolio of sports-centric client pitch decks is required to be considered. We want to see decks you've built for sports teams, leagues, sports-adjacent brands, or agencies pitching into the sports industry - not sports as a personal interest, but as professional output
  • Expert-level PowerPoint and Keynote (not "proficient" - genuinely fast and fluent)
  • Strong design instincts: typography, layout, color hierarchy, white space. You know why something looks bad and how to fix it immediately
  • Sports visual fluency - you understand the aesthetic and brands of leagues, clubs, and team brands, and you know how to work within or alongside them
  • Experience designing for sales or executive audiences, not just portfolios
  • Ability to work from a brief as short as a Slack message and deliver something compelling within hours
  • Adobe Creative Suite for asset prep (Photoshop, Illustrator at minimum)
  • Bonus: motion graphics experience (After Effects, Figma, or similar)
  • Bonus: familiarity with data visualization tools or building charts that don't look like Excel defaults

How You Work.
  • You're responsive and fast - this is a high-velocity role with shifting priorities
  • You are deadline-oriented and can manage your time with shifting priorities
  • You are a reliable communicator, and can provide daily updates and communication
  • You can handle confidential client materials (NFL, NBA, EPL teams) with discretion

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days.
  • You've built a reusable YinzCam product deck with modular components
  • You've shipped at least 10 client-facing decks with minimal revision cycles
  • The CEO is spending less time on slides and more time on strategy

Job Questions:
  1. What is your ideal starting date, if we were to make you an offer at the end of the interview process?
  2. Please provide a link to your design portfolio, including image and motion graphics.
  3. Are you willing to work out of our offices in Pittsburgh, on a daily basis?
