Job Summary:

Exos is seeking a Temporary Performance Nutrition Specialist to assist with the NFL Combine program at Exos. At Exos, nutrition is not viewed in isolation, but as a critical driver of health, recovery, readiness, and human performance. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who understands how strategic fueling supports both elite performance and long-term well-being. This is someone who lives at the intersection of sports science and elite performance fueling.
This role is about delivering a seamless, integrated experience that connects optimal fueling to the weight room and the field. You will be an instrumental part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-touch guidance to world-class athletes and high-performers to help them reach their absolute potential.

Below is a summary of the Performance Nutrition Specialist responsibilities:

Methodology & Integration

  • Deliver internal and external Nutritional Education Programs rooted in the Exos methodology and Model of Human Performance , ensuring integration across all pillars of Mindset, Movement, Nutrition and Recovery.

  • Collaborate daily with performance coaches, physical therapists, culinary and administration staff to maintain a culture of total integration.

  • Collaborate with Exos' strategic partners to integrate high-quality supplements, recovery products, and fueling technologies into daily athlete protocols.

Education, Athlete Management & Sports Science

  • Deliver personalized 1:1 nutrition recommendations utilizing Exos methodology to drive long-term behavior change and habit formation.

  • Develop and document individualized nutrition plans, strategies, and behavior modification protocols for both in-person and remote clients.

  • Lead the collection and analysis of nutrition-related performance data, including Anthropometrics, Hydration and Metabolic data.

  • Develop strategies and content to educate athletes and staff on optimal fueling for athletic performance.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and feedback

Culinary & Performance Food Operations

  • Manage and oversee culinary operations and integration with culinary staff to ensure menus and dining experiences meet optimal nutritional criteria for athletes, clients and staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) status is mandatory

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition

  • 3+ years of experience specifically in a sports nutrition setting (Collegiate, Professional, or Tactical)

  • CPR/AED Certification

  • Superb presentation and lecturing skills; the ability to translate complex science into actionable behavior change.

  • Self-sufficient, highly organized, and willing to travel as needed for athlete support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or Nutrition

  • CSSD (Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics) certification

  • Industry-recognized strength and conditioning certifications (e.g., NSCA-CSCS or NASM-PES)

  • Familiarity with performance tracking software and various body composition testing modalities
