Terry and Kim Pegula purchased the Buffalo Bills in 2014 and are only the second owners in the team's history. Terry Pegula rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected leaders in the energy industry, and the Pegulas are one of the few professional sports owners to operate franchises in multiple sports, also owning the Buffalo Sabres (NHL), Buffalo Bandits (NLL) and Rochester Americans (AHL).

Summary
The IPTV/AV Engineer will technically support Highmark Stadiums IPTV systems as well as be the lead in all non-gameday AV setups. This includes operating and troubleshooting IPTV and digital signage services for events and daily operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Primary contact for all AV requests within Highmark Stadium including Bills team events, corporate partnership events, and 3rd party events
  • Maintain and operate the IPTV system within the stadium and campus including loading new content, scheduling changes, adjusting playlists, reconfiguring digital media players, and verifying outputs
  • Provide support to end users of the IPTV system on gamedays and select 3rd party events
  • Provide support to AV setups including live event support, troubleshooting, and setup transitions
  • Maintain clear communication paths with Corporate Partnership needs to fulfill IPTV partner obligations for all Bills home games and events
  • Be the frontline support for IPTV, AV, and related issues around the stadium for all Bills home games
  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute on event IPTV and AV needs
  • Create and revise standard operating procedures for usage of the IPTV systems
  • Assist the scoreboard production in certain select internal and 3rd party events

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of broadcast engineering and/or AV support experience
  • College degree in related field
  • IPTV or similar system knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of production equipment including cameras, lighting, switchers, graphic systems, encoders, audio systems, and routing/patching procedures
  • Previous experience in client facing AV setup and operations
  • Aptitude for operating electronic equipment for broadcast and production required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional sports technical or AV support experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the Wipro VisionEDGE a plus
  • Crestron programming and troubleshooting a plus
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology, programs, and specialized software applications
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays and travel as required
  • Ability to set-up and tear down equipment including lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, stooping, cabling, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, enthusiastic approach and results driven
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours during a single shift, while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators
  • Must be able to work in all seasons include extreme heat, cold, snow or rain

Compensation
  • The role has an anticipated annualized salary range is between $65,000 - $75,000 . Salary will be based on the level role offered in accordance with candidate's experience, qualifications and internal team equity.
