Job description

Working closely with the Broadcasting Manager and Senior Broadcasting Associate, the Broadcasting Associate will assist in managing key internal and external workstreams focused on protecting the integrity of NFL media rights and enhancing the live game viewing experience for fans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Broadcast Compliance Screening program, which monitors live NFL game broadcasts and other licensed programming to ensure broadcast partner compliance across advertising, sponsorship, network promotion, and more. Responsibilities include onboarding and scheduling screeners, auditing screening logs, preparing weekly reports and recordkeeping
  • Support Senior Broadcasting Associate in managing the NFL's ad policy and approval processes
  • Support Broadcasting Manager in working with NFL Marketing and broadcast partners to manage institutional promo inventory and the integration of key League initiatives and positive player stories across broadcasts
  • Generate broadcast clips and compile into reports highlighting compliance issues, League initiatives / priorities, and other noteworthy elements from NFL broadcasts
  • Provide support for internal/external meetings and presentations
  • Additional departmental responsibilities as appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2-3+ years' experience in the sports media industry with deep knowledge of the media rights landscape

  • Weekend work and extra hours around NFL games, event commitments and deadlines
