Job Title: Esports Broadcast Manager Work Study
Location: MCC - Esports Arena / Console Lounge
Department: Esports
Reports to: Esports Head Coach
Semester: Full year (2026-2027)
Number of Openings: 3
Rate of Pay: $10.00 per hour
Summary: The purpose of the MCC Esports Broadcast Manager is to oversee all of the shoutcasting and video production operations for MCC's athletic esports program. Responsibilities include, but not limited to creating and maintaining shoutcasting schedules for official MCC matches, creating and maintaining stream assets such as overlays, graphics, advertisements, and more, updating stream scenes, sources, and materials using software like OBS and vMix for daily streams, and overseeing uploads and video content on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and more.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Represent MCC as a professional in both communications and behavior
  • Problem solving and responding to situations in a timely fashion
  • Creation and maintenance of broadcasting schedules for official MCC Esports matches and other events
  • Shoutcasting matches as needed
  • Creation and maintenance of stream assets including overlays, graphics, etc.
  • Updating and maintenance of streaming software and daily livestreams using tools like OBS, vMix, etc.
  • Training others on use of streaming software and hardware
  • Managing video uploads and operations of YouTube, Twitch, or other platforms

Abilities:
  • Scheduling
  • Personnel management
  • Graphic design fundamentals
  • Shoutcasting / Performance art experience
  • Operation of streaming software like vMix, OBS, Streamlabs, etc.
  • Operation of video editing software like DaVinci Resolve, Canva, etc.
