The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 777X Program is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Level 3 and Level 4) to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will be 100% onsite in Berkeley, Missouri.

The 777X is a next-generation widebody passenger airplane program supporting commercial customers worldwide. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will contribute to the structural certification deliverables for multiple aircraft variants and support key rate initiatives to meet the growing customer order backlog. You will work alongside a passionate leadership team dedicated to attracting and developing top talent, helping to shape the future of aerospace.

Position Responsibilities:
(Level 3)
• Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies.
• Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
• Work under general direction.

(Level 4)
• Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.

• Support in-service products by leading failure investigations and analyzing improvements.
• Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of development efforts.
• Work under minimal direction.

This position will be 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO.

This position does not require a security clearance.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• (Level 3) 5+ years of related engineering experience.
 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• (Level 4) 9+ years of related engineering experience.
• Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis.
• Experience with metallic and composite structural analysis.
• Experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.
• Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA.
