Job description

Job Title: React Full Stack Engineer (React, GraphQL, Node.js)
Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid 3 Days onsite(
Need locals)
Rate: 50/Hr on W2
No H1, OPT, CPT

 

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement modern, responsive, and accessible web interfaces using React.js and GraphQL.

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.jsExpress, and other backend frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into user-centric features.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern libraries.
  • Work with GraphQL schemas, queries, and mutations to ensure efficient data fetching.
  • Write reusable, testable, and maintainable frontend and backend code.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services when needed.
  • Leverage CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and cloud deployment strategies.

 

Must-Have Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience with React.js (hooks, context, functional components).
  • Strong UI/UX understanding and experience implementing pixel-perfect designs.
  • Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Client/Server or similar).
  • 4+ years of experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Express.
  • Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
  • Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases.
  • Understanding of component-driven development and design systems.
  • Proficient with Git, code versioning, and collaborative tools (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Experience with unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E testing (Cypress, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with accessibility (a11y) and cross-browser compatibility.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Next.jsRedux, or other state management libraries.
  • Familiarity with DockerKubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with design tools like FigmaAdobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
