Job description

URGENT HIRE!!

We are currently looking for motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist/Physical Therapist with experience in home health care, to join Our Nurse Next Door Family. The position gives you control of your schedule and have flexibility.


Responsibilities:

  • Implements physical and psychological assessments of the patient and indicates treatment plan using a variety of methods.
  • Assesses the patient’s home and work environments and makes necessary adjustments if needed.
  • Advises on what equipment would suit the patient for their everyday activities and helps them utilize them.
  • Develops physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost fine motor skills.
  • Establishes physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills and prepare them to return to normal life.
  • Evaluates patient’s condition regarding physical and basic mental health as well as establishes goals that Occupational therapy will treat and adjusts programs based on patient’s needs and skills.
  • Administers patient care in compliance with agency policy, law and regulation, and according to the guidelines provided by the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, Occupational Therapy policies and procedures and scope of care.
  • Ensures continued competence and updated field knowledge.
    Qualifications
  • Licensed/Registered by the Occupational Therapist
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification recommended
  • Current Driver’s License
  • 1-year experience (New graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Home Care Experience recommended
