Job description

QXO, Inc. (NYSE: QXO) is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and related products, and the second largest publicly traded distributor of lumber and building materials in North America. The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.
What you'll do:
- Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs - Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load - Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site - Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading - Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products - Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
What you'll bring:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
- Must have experience driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
