We are seeking passionate, dedicated professionals to help us continue to achieve our goals. We're currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working alongside Project Managers and field teams, this role helps ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Principle Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction projects.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, commitments, and progress.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to support project execution.
  • Support procurement, subcontract administration, and material purchasing.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to the project team.
  • Promote quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of successful project delivery.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor, as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, estimating, contracts, and project financials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
  • Experience supporting RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project closeout documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
