Job Description

As a Returns Processor, you will primarily focus on processing returned devices so they can be appropriately recorded, triaged, and further processed. As such, you will work closely with the existing team, and provide whatever support they require to manage the incoming inventory. Responsibilities will include the following (note that training will be provided in several areas):

  • Organizing and labeling returned packages
  • Opening returned packages, sorting the contents, and cleaning and disinfecting returned devices that were used in the field
  • Investigating product history and status using existing tools 
  • Performing simple data entry
  • Maintaining inventory levels of materials used in the processing of returns
  • Disassembling, scrapping, and recycling returned product
  • Various other tasks of similar nature in support of the team and their responsibilities
Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn new technical skills quickly with an appropriate amount of training
  • Ability to work with people, or alone, as the situation demands 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, handle a large number of packages, and open returned boxes
  • Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with basic office software tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Sheets, Docs, etc.

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):

  • Comfortable in a lab setting, and using basic electrical equipment, computer equipment, and hand tools

Compensation 

Our estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
