JOB TITLE: Account ManagerSUPERVISED BY: Sales/Marketing Manager/Director of Branch OperationsPOSITION SUMMARY:Sells full product line of steel and processing services to businesses ranging from fabricators, OEMs, machine shops, manufacturing facilities and any appropriate business with steel needs in a defined territory.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Achieve sales goals each quarter.Develop a partnering relationship with customers with regular contact to seek opportunities for products and processing in response to their changing needs.Develop sales strategy and a plan to meet the strategy in that territory.Reports on achievement of strategy and plan regularly using prescribed tools.Maintain a working knowledge of all products, promotions, technology and services available.Develop an ongoing list of prospects for new business using all available resources.
