• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools to identify the needs of clients and their families.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to suit the diverse needs of clients.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and stress-reduction techniques to promote resilience and personal growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation reflecting client progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer consultations, staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

You will work primarily with individuals and families dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. Our client base is diverse, reflecting the community of Reno, where you will engage with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your work will not only help clients to manage their mental health but also empower them to foster healthier relationships and improve overall well-being.

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience providing therapy in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms.
• A firm commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines in every aspect of your work.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EFT is highly desirable.
• Knowledge or experience working with trauma-informed care or specific populations, such as LGBTQ+ clients or families with diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with integrated care practices or collaboration with other healthcare providers is a plus.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
