Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Responsible for administering safe, sound, and cost effective anesthesia/analgesia to elective and emergency patients.

About this role:

As a CRNA, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will cover full range of anesthesia matters, including respiratory therapy and airway management for newborn births.

This position is PRN. You will practice at Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah and have access to state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment.

What you'll bring:

· Master of Science and graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.

· Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification & Re-certification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

· Active, unobstructed Utah Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Anesthetist license, or the ability to obtain one

· An active DEA, ACLS, NPR and PALS certifications, or the ability to obtain one

· Prior experience as a CRNA, strongly preferred

· Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Tremonton is a beautiful, rural community of ~ 8,200 people located in northern Utah. The area abounds with outdoor recreational possibilities. Golfing, hiking, camping, water skiing, snow skiing, and fishing make up only a handful of the prospects awaiting the outdoor enthusiast. The North Box Elder County Museum houses many interesting pioneer artifacts for those interested in the history of the area. Tremonton is just a short drive from the university communities of Logan and Ogden where many cultural and college sporting events are held. Bear River Valley Hospital, located in Tremonton, was rebuilt and opened in 2009 it is a modern, 16-bed facility, staffed by 46 medical personnel and other employees. The facility services Tremonton and the surrounding area.
