To thrive as a New Grad UX Designer, you generally need a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, basic prototyping, and a portfolio demonstrating your design process, often supported by a bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or a related field. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and basic knowledge of usability testing methods are typical requirements.
