Job description

You are a Project Coordinator with 1-5 years of experience working in multi-disciplinary commercial and residential construction projects. As an integral part of the project team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing project strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager. You will support the operations team in maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support HS&E, and environmental compliance by implementing project safety procedures and maintaining OH&S standards
  • Managed RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and inspection scheduling to ensure timely project coordination
  • Maintained project documentation, filing systems, drawings, and correspondence within the document management system
  • Assisted with project billing, cost tracking, and administrative coordination for project start-up and closeout
  • Coordinated change order pricing, subcontractor documentation, and purchase orders for Project Manager review
  • Tracked project milestones, schedules, and quality control requirements to support successful project delivery
  • Prepared project closeout documentation, including warranties, O&M manuals, turnover packages, and archived records

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Completed post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or related discipline an asset
  • Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications and current construction practices and methodology
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to address stakeholder needs
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs; familiar with scheduling software
