Job description

Role Summary
This role supports the Managed Self Service (MSS) initiative within the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization. The position is responsible for ensuring the effective adoption and governance of self-service analytics platforms, primarily using Power BI and Snowflake. The role involves monitoring usage, managing user access, providing user support, and coordinating project activities to promote data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage processes to monitor Power BI workspaces and Snowflake usage, including developing dashboards for metrics, adoption, and compliance tracking.
  • Track compliance with MSS guidelines, policies, and standards, escalating non-compliance issues as needed.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and auditing initiatives aligned with MSS governance practices.
  • Manage user access requests for Power BI and Snowflake, including onboarding new users and ensuring access adheres to role-based data security policies.
  • Provide ongoing user support, including answering questions related to Power BI dashboards, datasets, and Snowflake queries, following Data Literacy training.
  • Maintain and update the MSS SharePoint site, ensuring documentation, onboarding guides, and training materials are current and accessible.
  • Support day-to-day MSS project execution by tracking status, coordinating dependencies, and updating stakeholders on progress.
  • Assist with the rollout of updates to MSS processes, tools, and standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in data analysis, or 3+ years of relevant experience supporting analytics initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency with Snowflake and SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Experience with data governance, compliance, and self-service analytics environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to support business users with varying technical skill levels.
  • Experience supporting project or product management activities with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and change management skills.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple work streams, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $56.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
