Path Construction is looking for a Development Manager to lead the execution of the company's development and new construction strategy, identifying and managing projects across Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Arizona. Duties for Development Manager include:

  • Leading Development planning and strategy
  • Locating and Pursuing development opportunities
  • Review and Analysis of development project opportunities
  • Develop pro formas
  • Working with the Managing Director of Finance in project financing, and reviewing and providing progress updates on project opportunities, construction and lease-up
  • Manage the pre-entitlement process
  • Ensuring pro-forma development budgets and schedules are met
  • Negotiate or assist in the negotiation of contracts, term sheets, loan documents and joint venture agreements
  • Manage third party consultants to identify, entitle, design, finance, lease, manage and dispose of new development projects
  • Develop and analyze funding options and strategies
  • Source new development opportunities through developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including brokers, land sellers, equity partners and lenders to identify feasible, financeable, and profitable new initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of real estate development experience
  • Deep and broad experience in multifamily, medical, educational or industrial development is preferred
  • Dynamic verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • High proficiency with real estate underwriting and real estate finance concepts
