Job description

Job Summary: Point of contact for all Lot and inventory-related issues and processes; responsible for recording and management of used and new car inventory; works closely with Service and Sales management to ensure inventory data is up to date and accurate. Ensures proper presentation of vehicles and lot. Assists with moving and obtaining vehicles for customers and staff; may have other duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supervise inventory counts (periodic cycle and year end), research discrepancies, ensure timely adjustments.
• Manage the inventory replenishment process and analyze changes to inventory levels based on historical data and input from sales.
• Implements processes to reduce inventory on hand.
• Minimize obsolescence and manage customer lease returns.
• Managing incoming cars, used inventory, incoming dealer trades
• Keeping pricing stickers on cars.
• Serves as day-to-day supervisor of valets.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Previous or current valet or porter experience.
• Automotive experience highly preferred; candidates with inventory / warehousing experience will also be considered
• High-level organizational skills: ability to manage a large volume of information, data, and paperwork and being responsive to requests from customers, management, other staff, etc.
• Ability to use an inventory management system, other industry technology.
• High level of attention to detail; able to perform quality-control.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to understand and follow all state and federal regulations, company policies and processes.
• Valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to the company.
