As an Instructional Design Intern, you'll work alongside our Cybersecurity team to adapt engaging training that helps employees recognize cyber threats and stay safe online. You'll gain hands-on experience designing eLearning, creating digital content, and collaborating with professionals across the organization.
This in-person internship is based at our Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, during the 2026-2027 academic year, with the potential to continue through the summer.
We're Looking for Someone Who is:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

Bonus Points If You Have Experience with:
  • Articulate Storyline or Articulate 360.
  • Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other graphic design tools.
  • Creating presentations, videos, or other digital learning content.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
  • Coursework or a personal interest in cybersecurity.

What You'll Do
  • Help design, develop, and update training modules.
  • Edit and proofread learning materials to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Partner with other divisions to upload, organize, and maintain learning modules.
  • Participate in instructional design meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
  • Learn from experienced professionals while building a portfolio of real-world instructional design projects.
