Position Summary:

The Business Development Associate works to source and progress new business opportunities and leads for further development by sales executives. The role works to support the entire sales process from prospecting to deal close. BDRs partner directly with a Sales Executive to drive programmatic growth and sales pipelines.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Schedule sales meetings for Member Development Executives (MDEs) to meet with prospective members, working towards meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
  • Leverage all available resources – such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, external sources (e.g. social media, news alerts, etc.), and predictive modeling tools – to strategically identify and contact healthcare executives
  • Communicate with prospective members via cold calling, email, and social media
  • Partner with MDE team and Manager to create and execute strategic outreach plans to support new business acquisition goals
  • Follow up with inbound leads within designated time periods
  • Maintain and update prospect records in Salesforce; update Salesforce with relevant research and scheduling information
  • Participate in regular MDR training and coaching sessions to hone demand generation skills
  • Attend Member Development organization team meetings and territory strategy sessions
  • Maintain CRM data to capture a 360-degree view of member experience (key contacts, memberships, active memberships, renewals, relationship history, etc.)
  • Assist with internal coordination amongst departments (Meeting Services, Ed Services, Research)
  • Join and take notes to select prospect calls and provide necessary follow-up materials

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university
  • Previous internship or work experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Interest in the Healthcare Industry
  • Ability to Travel as needed

Compensation:

This position has a salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 + a performance-based commission structure of up to $5,000. OTE: $55-60k
